The leaves on variegated peru plants emerge green, but if you look closely you can see differences between shades of green on the leaf. As the leaf ages, the lighter green will become yellow. We’ve done our best to try and display the variation in the newest leaf of each plant, although its difficult to see so we’ve annotate some images to make this more clear.
Variegated plants like these differ substantially from one to another, even though they are of the same variety. For this reason, we take the time to photograph and show these sale plants individually. We also price them individually, depending in their size and level of variegation.
The plant you see photographed is the plant you will receive.
Plant A has marbled variegation, making it easier to care for (less prone to browning). It has as a tighter growth form and will continue to grow beautifully if given a totem to climb. Plant B has blocky and higher levels of variation, but has become a big leggy in its search of a totem to climb.
