Watering is arguably one of the more difficult parts of plant care. Under-watering will cause your plant to dry out, and over watering will lead to root rot. Even once you have watering down pat, don’t even think about going on a holiday without running the risk of your plants drying out. This is why Lechuza developed an intelligent watering system that allows plants to receive just the right amount of water they need over a prolonged period of time. 

The LECHUZA-PON plant substrate supports plants and gives them all the important nutrients they need. It also regulates the supply of water to the roots so that the plant always receives the right amount of water without the risk of overwatering. You will receive enough PON to fill the base of the planter liner, you can then fill the rest of the liner with your plant(s) and soil. If you wish to only use PON in your planter, this will work well, but please note that you will need to purchase additional PON to do this. 

The water reservoir in the Lechuza irrigation system is easy to fill from the outside. The water level indicator always keeps you informed of the amount of water in the planter. And once the reservoir is full, you can enjoy the beauty of your plants without stressing about their moisture levels, or even go on a holiday know thing that your plants will receive all the water they require.
