Elevate your plant collection with the striking beauty of the Alocasia Macrorrhiza Variegata, a captivating blend of lush foliage and elegant variegation.
Variegated Alocasia Macrorrhiza are an easy care plant that require bright indirect light. Overwatering these guys is less of an issue compared with other Alocasia, as they prefer moist soil at all times (except when they are dormant). Be sure to place them in a well-draining soil mix to avoid root rot. They love bright indirect light, and also lots of warmth. Like other Alocaisa, they may become dormant during winter, but will begin growing again when the weather warms up. Typical of Alocasia, they are also prone to spider mites, so be sure to keep up your preventative routine and spray the leaves regularly.
Although the plant you see will be the plant you receive, we can not guarantee that all leaves pictured will be on the plant. As Alocasia grow new leaves, their older leaves will die off. They also often loose leaves during transit. We find that the whites of the leaves are usually the first to wither away.
The photos of this plants was taken on the 27th of September, and so depending on when it is sold, new leaves may be present and the leaves pictured may have died off.
