Oxalis triangularis has delicate bright purple leaves that open when the sun comes up and close during the night. They grow from corms, and can become dormant over winter and re-sprout when the weather warms up.
Please note that these plants have delicate leaves. They can struggle with the stress of being shipped and may lose their leaves once you receive the plant. If this occurs, you will find that the plant will quickly grow new leaves once in your care.
Give bright indirect light and water when partially dry; dont let completely dry out. These plants can also be grown in a shaded spot outdoors, but growing them indoors will reduce the chance of them becoming dormant over winter (especially in the cooler states).
The plant you see pictured here is a representation of the plant you will receive. A pen is included in the third photo to give you an indication of scale and plant size.
