Philodendron verrucosum is a climbing philodendron that requires moderate levels of indirect light (its delicate leaves will quickly bleach and burn if the light is too strong). We find these grow very well in passive hydroponics (we like to grow them in perlite or MAB grow), but they will also grow well in a well-draining aroid mix.
Our Philodendron verrucosum is propagated from mature stem cuttings (non TC), resulting in new growth that displays mature leaf form. You’ll notice a striking difference between this plant’s young and mature leaves. While the younger leaves are small, round, and green, the mature leaves have stunning burgundy red patterning that you can see in the product photo.
We take pride in delivering only the highest quality plants to our customers. The plant you see in our product photo is a representation of the one you’ll receive. All of our Philodendron verrucosum plants have gorgeous mature leaves, with at least one open leaf and another on the way.
