The ‘El Salvador’ is a harder to find variety of Monstera siltepecana. It has larger leaves with more prominent silvery veining than the typical siltepecana, but is otherwise very similar. This climbing philodendron may eventually become fenestrated as it matures. The leaves are more likely to fenestrate if the plant has the opportunity to climb, and is given very bright indirect light.
The cutting you see pictured here is a representation of what you will receive. It’ll be a 2 node cutting sent in sphagnum moss. These plants propagate easily in water.
