The adorable heart shaped leaves of Brunnera macrophylla are adorned with silver patterns, and with time can grow up to 20 cm in diameter. Under the our LED light-box we use for photography, the leaves can appear more white than silver. The last photo was taken in natural light, so you can see the true silver colour of the leaves.
These are an easy care shade plant that grow best in bright indirect light, but can also handle some early morning sun. If placed in a bright spot, this plant will reward you with tiny blue flowers during the growing season. They can become dormant if temperatures become very cold. Keep in well draining soil and let partially dry out between waterings. This plant does like a lot of moisture, so be sure not to let it completely dry out.
The plant you see pictured here is a representation of the plant you will receive.
