This plant is a clone of the parent plant (they have the same genetics), as it was propagated via stem cutting. The parent plant is shown in the last photo labeled ‘H23’. As this was propagated via of division of the parent’s base, it has a strong root system that will result in it sizing up quickly.
The plant pictured here is the plant you will receive.
Velvet leaf anthuriums like this need very specific conditions to thrive. We don’t recommend this plant for brown thumbs. If you live in Australia’s southern states, we recommend a humidifier, greenhouse, or similar to house your velvet leaf anthuriums. These plants are endemic to the tropics, and require warmth and humidity to grow. Some collectors push the limits of these plants, growing them in below-optimal conditions, but we don’t suggest this unless you are an experienced grower.
