The stunning metallic silvery-blue sheen on the leaves of the Alocasia Corazon make it a must have for any alocasia lover. You might have guessed that this plant is native to the Philippines, as it is named after the country’s former president, Corazon Aquino.
The plant pictured is a representation of the plant you will receive.
The care of this plant is similar to most other alocasia. It does appreciate some humidity (but its not essential), direct light only, and its fussy with watering.
Alocasia will rot if you keep them too wet, but also don’t like to completely dry out between waterings. Best to check the moisture content before watering by simply digging your finger into the soil, and only watering when the top ~4 cm of soil is dry.
It’s also best to keep this plant warm (above 15 C), as it will become dormant if it gets too cold. Should this happen, the plant will re-grow when the temperature warms up.
